Moments That Matter

So often, our days move at a pace that can feel both demanding and distracting.
If your life feels fragmented or fast, if you find yourself desiring to connect meaning
and purpose to the life you are living, un/defined is a place for you. You are
invited to be part of this two-day experience —a chance to relax into laughter, to
rest into grace, and to connect with other women in all stages of life who desire
to move beyond the ordinary moments of life into moments that matter.

Nicole Unice is an author and bible teacher who has a passion for bringing God’s Word to life in a personal and relevant way. Her training as a counselor informs her work, with an emphasis on the importance of facing our own reality and embracing the transforming power of God’s grace.

Nicole’s invitations to speak have taken her across the world, and her books come to life with her popular video curriculum series found on Right Now Media. Her heart belongs to Hope Church, where she serves as an assistant pastor and leads Praxis, a full-time ministry residency program for young leaders.

Nicole holds degrees from the College of William and Mary and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She loves creating a space for ministry and spiritual formation in the everyday rhythms of life with three children, two pups, one husband, and a whole community of twenty somethings who are usually around raiding the fridge.

As women, we look to so many places for our definition — our work, our kids, our jobs — and are so easily lost in the sea of coulds/shoulds and the heart question…” Can we really have it all?” At the end of the day, we so desperately need to be defined by the One who truly knows us, and who has a plan far greater than what we could imagine. We need to discover that our definition comes from him, not all these other trappings of modern-day womanhood. Un/defined invites us to cast off the half-truths that surround us and reorient our lives toward the definition that God has for each one of us, no matter our age or stage.

Come to un/defined exactly as you are. Bring a friend or two or three. This is a women’s gathering designed for high-school aged females and up. Our leadership team represents every age and stage of life, and we trust that you’ll find a place to belong with us. Consider making a weekend of it with friends, as a way to spend intentional time together that we hope will spark meaningful connection and relationship. We’ve praying for you, believing that this time will refresh your heart and reinvigorate your life with purpose.
