At Hope, serving is part of our DNA. Our mission is to offer experiences, relationships and places where people can find life and purpose in Jesus Christ. You become part of the mission when you become part of a team.

WHAT ARE HOPE TEAMS?

It takes literally hundreds of volunteers on at our two locations (West Creek and Midtown) to make Hope a place where people of all ages find life and purpose in Jesus Christ. Hope Teams are simply teams of different people from our community that serve to make Hope a good place to find life.

HOW DO I JOIN A TEAM?

Joining a team is easy!  Simply choose area you’d like to serve and fill out the form.  You’ll have the chance to specify which campus on the form. We’ll reach out to you as soon as we’ve reviewed your information!

HOPE TEAM FAQ

How often can I serve?

As often as you’d like! Most of our weekend experience teams are on a once/month schedule, although we welcome you to help more! Our services are designed so you can serve one/attend one as part of your normal rhythms here. For Hope Kids, different teams have different schedules, from weekly to monthly commitments. Fill out a form to find out more.

Do I need specific skills?

There are some teams where specific skills are helpful—especially on our tech team or for specific projects in Hope Kids. But most of our teams are designed so you can just jump in—no experience necessary!

How does serving work?

After you fill out this form, we will get you connected to a team leader so you can come and learn more about your team and be trained in your role. Then—get ready for some fun! You are on the team!

Do I have to commit right away?

We know your life is already busy, and another commitment can feel daunting. Yet we know that some of the best stories of ministry and relationships come out of serving on a team together. So we invite you to jump in somewhere—even once a month. We think you’ll be glad you did. And if it doesn’t work out, that’s OK too—sometimes it takes a few tries to find a great fit for you, but we have plenty of opportunities for you to see what fits best!
