Bio-
I’m a born-and-raised West Virginia girl (Go Mountaineers!), but I don’t really like hunting or hiking or any of those typical country things that folks associate with the Mountain State. So, after I graduated from WVU with my Masters degree in Secondary Education, I decided to move to the big city of Richmond to take my first teaching gig — 6th and 7th grade English in Chesterfield County.

As I was navigating life in a new city, I started attending Hope in the spring of 2012 with a good friend of mine from work. I quickly fell in love with the music, community, and teaching here and decided to audition to be a part of the Worship Arts team. It was one of the best, most life-giving decisions I’ve ever made! I’ve had the best time getting to know this family of artists and taking every opportunity to create and worship together.

When I heard about the Praxis Program and the chance to pursue Worship Arts ministry full-time, there was no question that it was the path God was leading me toward. I’m so excited to move into this new season of life, ministry, and art and to discover all that God has for me and for Hope Church!
