i am Hope

Any vital organization that takes it’s purpose seriously frequently self examines to stay sharp, to evaluate effectiveness and to keep focused on its core purpose. That’s what the “i am HOPE” campaign represents – Hope’s efforts to stay sharp and to go after our mission as vigorously as possible. So what’s the campaign about? It’s about Jesus Christ at our center, changing people’s lives! At the core of our existence is our commitment to help people find life and purpose through Jesus Christ – it’s why we’re here and it’s what we’re passionate about.

Our campaign has four primary initiatives: Outreach, Communication, Transformation and Expansion. You can read more about these in the campaign brochure. Over the next 5 years, we’ll be going after specific ideas in each of these four areas so we can be more inviting, more effective at helping people find life in a relationship with Jesus Christ, and more effective at helping people grow. The plan includes intentional expansion efforts – including facilities development, ministry expansion and staffing growth.

As Hope has almost tripled in size since moving into our first building two years ago, part of our expansion efforts include a capital campaign. Specifically, facility expansion is both strategically important and practically necessary. You can see renderings of a new Student and Family Ministry Lodge, a playground, parking improvements, and landscaping upgrades. To be able to build these things we’re inviting everyone who feels they’re a part of Hope to make a financial commitment to our 3 year capital campaign. Commitment Sunday for the campaign is November 21st – so you’re invited to bring commitment cards on that Sunday.

If you’re interested in a picture of what it might take for a church like ours to reach our $2,900,000 goal look at the giving profile which specifies the number of gifts and gift amounts needed. Please pray about how God might want to express His heart through the financial resources He’s given you, and commit to give as much as possible. When all of us do this together, we’ll have a lot of celebrating to do!
