Hope Thrift Blood Drive January 7th
The Richmond blood services came out Saturday, January 7th and had a successful blood drive. Thank you to all who came out! Who could have predicted 70 degree weather?! I will definitely take that in the middle of winter.

Activities & Gift Ideas at the Thrift
What a blast we had last night! 2nd Baptist women’s group came to Hope Thrift and had an after hours get together. They put together some great ideas that all could be made with things from the Thrift. Cupcake holders made from a candle stick and a crystal coaster (about $5) plus glue and you have an incredible gift for someone! Mason jars with a little lace and a battery tea light candle are perfect for a mantle. So to start the night they had snacks, a devotional, then a demo on ideas, and finally it was off to shop at the Thrift! Anyone who has a small group or women’s club who would like to have an after hours party/shopping trip, please contact Mary Beth 519-4553. Have your group see what God’s doing at Hope Thrift and enjoy a little fellowship and fun!!!
The Gifts Keep on Giving!
I just love when God gives me an opportunity to reflect . . . While cutting someones hair today they shared with me that they had been to Hope Thrift and purchased some great hardback books for their mother. But, while in line, the woman in front of her was purchasing a HUGE amount of clothes. It only came to $60.00 and then the cashier told her it was dollar clothing the last week of every month. She shared that she was so excited because she was almost finished with her Christmas shopping and how thrilled everyone was gonna be with what she had just picked out. My client shared with me that the books were awesome but the excitement of the lady in front of her was priceless . . . I LOVE TO WITNESS GOD AT WORK! Thank you to all who donate, shop and volunteer! It’s a ministry that keeps on giving in a multitude of ways!
