Thrive – A Place for Women to Connect

Thrive is a place where women of all ages and stages connect weekly for teaching and conversation. The casual atmosphere creates a warm and welcoming place where each woman can know and be known by others.

Each week, Thrive offers a large group teaching, table group conversation, and sharing centered on the day’s lesson. Our desire is for women to be encouraged as they explore and deepen their understanding of God, while at the same time cultivate new and meaningful relationships with other women. The collective creativity, personalities, experiences and expressions of women combine at Thrive to generate a fun, lively and warm place for connection and growth.

This spring we will study the gospel of Mark and further explore Jesus’ compelling question to his disciples, “Who do you say I am?”. Mark’s gospel brings to life Peter’s eyewitness account of the words and wonders of Jesus during his ministry. Mark’s emphasis on what Jesus did more so than what he said allows us to see the response people had to him, ranging from wide-eyed amazement to open opposition. As Mark relates these events we see Jesus presented as an authoritative Teacher, as the Son of Man, the kingly Messiah, and as the suffering Servant. After a time, Jesus asks his own disciples the compelling question: “Who do you say I am?” This question is one that we too must consider as we look at the claims and accomplishments of Jesus through this gospel study.

Sprouts , a pre‐school ministry for infants through pre‐schoolers, is offered during the morning session. Basic childcare is offered for the evening session.
