Many families struggle to provide adequate school supplies for their children. Hope partners with several local organizations who serve children in some of Richmond’s highest-risk neighborhoods. They can use our help in gathering supplies so students can get off to a successful start this fall.
As you are purchasing school supplies for your own children, or you see them on sale as you’re shopping, we invite you to pick up a few extra items (backpacks, notebooks, pencils, markers, etc.) and bring them to our special School Bus Stop in the concourse at Hope West Creek from August 14 – August 28. Your thoughtful donation will make a big difference in the life of a student.
- Date: Sunday, August 14 – Sunday, August 28
- Location: Hope West Creek (In the concourse)
On Wednesday, September 21 you can do your weekly grocery shopping AND help feed students at Thomas Jefferson High School! That day, 5% of all sales at the Short Pump Whole Foods will go toward a program called Feeding Future Leaders, which feeds students who stay after school for various programs at TJHS. Anyone can participate, so invite friends, neighbors, and coworkers to shop that day as well!

Note: This meeting has been rescheduled for next Sunday (January 15 @ 4pm) instead.
