Bio-
I have always loved people!  I love getting to know their talents and passions, as well as their quirks and shortcomings.  There’s something special about someone letting you into their world ~ it gives life color and substance.  When I met Christ the summer before freshman year of high school, I specifically remember God giving my passion for people a greater purpose.  During high school, Young Life quickly became a big part of my life.  This was the first time my passion for people and for Christ were interwoven, and it lit a fire in me like nothing before.  It was then that I learned how to invite my friends into a relationship with Christ, and also learned the significance of being surrounded by Christian friends who care for you, constantly remind you of God’s grace, and remind you to lighten up and enjoy life!

I attended Christopher Newport University where I volunteered as a Young Life Leader and after college I served as Young Adults Director for a church in Newport News.  When Kelsey and I got married in July of 2011, we decided to make Richmond our home town.  How we found Hope Church is a different story – ask me about it sometime!  I am thankful God led us here.  It’s truly a privilege to call Hope “home”, and an honor to serve our high school students.
