An orientation & membership class designed to help people learn about our mission, beliefs, and ministries – A great first step toward learning more and getting involved.

Our next Discover Hope Class will take place January 19-20.  Register here.

1. What is the structure and content of the class?

The Friday session (6:30-9:00PM) includes dinner and teaching on our understanding of what it means to be a Christian. The Saturday session (8:30AM -12:00PM) begins with breakfast followed by teaching on our mission and beliefs. We continue with information on how to get more involved and teaching on what it means to be a member. The meals and table discussions are also a great way to meet other new people as you are learning together.

2. Does the class provide childcare?

Yes, we will provide childcare for those who give us the names and ages of their children when they register. On Friday night, please feed your children before coming. You may also want to bring your child’s favorite pillow or stuffed animal if they want to rest while watching the movie. On Saturday, our older children will have games, activities and some time on the playground – weather permitting. Please bring any special snacks for your children and let our staff know if your child has any special needs or dietary restrictions.

3. Do I need to attend both days in order to join Hope?

The short answer is yes. Both days are mandatory. However, we know that life can be complicated. Please let us know if you need to arrive a little late or leave a little early.

4. Do I have to join HOPE after taking the class?

No, participants are welcome to attend the class as an introduction to HOPE. Membership is then an option, but it is not required. Some people take the class and then decide to become a member at a later time.
