An orientation & membership class designed to help people learn about our mission, beliefs, and ministries – A great first step toward learning more and getting involved.
UPCOMING DISCOVER HOPE CLASSES:
Due to the wintery forecast, the January 6-7 Discover Hope class has been postponed. Please join us at our upcoming March class:
Friday, March 24 (6:30-9:30pm) & Saturday, March 25 (8:30 – 12:30pm)
For more information and to register, please click here.
The Friday session (6:30-9:30PM) includes dinner and teaching on our understanding of what it means to be a Christian. The Saturday session (8:30AM -12:30PM) begins with a light breakfast followed by teaching on our mission and beliefs. We continue with information on how to get more involved and teaching on what it means to be a member. The meals and table discussions are also a great way to meet other new people as you are learning together.
Yes, we will provide childcare for those who give us the names and ages of their children when they register. On Friday night, please feed your children before coming. You may also want to bring your child’s favorite pillow or stuffed animal if they want to rest during the movie from 7:30 to 9:30. On Saturday, our older children will have games, activities and some time on the playground – weather permitting. Please bring any special snacks for your children and let our staff know if your child has any special needs or dietary restrictions.
The short answer is yes. Both days are mandatory. However, we know that life can be complicated. Please let us know if you need to arrive a little late or leave a little early.
No, participants are welcome to attend the class as an introduction to HOPE. Membership is then an option, but it is not required. Some people take the class and then decide to become a member at a later time.
