GroupLink

If you are interested in a being part of a small group, then make plans to attend our next GroupLink on September 16, 2012 from 6:15 – 7:30 PM.  We hold this event three times a year (January, April and September) as a way to launch new groups. Those groups will then meet for an initial seven-week commitment with the option of continuing if you are enjoying it.  Groups will meet in someone’s home for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.  If you plan to come, then please register before the event (online registration forthcoming).

What happens at GroupLink? The evening starts with a brief orientation, where we will share some about our vision for small groups. We will provide you with more detailed guidance to get you through the evening successfully.  Appetizers are usually served while you meet and talk to others with whom you could potentially be in a group. After mingling for a short time, you will be given specific directions based on your preference. There will be groups men, women, young adults, and married couples . When we break into new groups, you will plan your first meeting and spend some time getting to know one another.

Is childcare provided at GroupLink?   Childcare is provided for those who have registered in advance.

What is the difference between GroupLink and a small group? GroupLink is a an introductory event where new small groups are formed.  Those small group usually have six to twelve members who meet weekly for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.

What happens after GroupLink?   Small groups will meet for a seven-week trial period with the opportunity to continue meeting for those who are enjoying the community.

What if I can’t make it to GroupLink? Because this is the first gathering for each group, it is where relationship begin as people introduce themselves to each other.  It is also when they discuss when and where the group will meet.    If you cannot be present, then please make plans to attend the next GroupLink event which is offered once a quarter.
