Bio:
I grew up in Chesterfield in a Christian home with amazing parents who taught me about God from an early age.  I loved being involved in our church and also in Young Life and attended both on a weekly basis during high school.  Around my sophomore year of high school, God stopped being just someone in the heavens looking down on me from afar, and really became my daily companion who I talked with, cried with, and laughed with about all the ups and downs in life.  My faith grew stronger throughout the rest of high school, and in college, my relationship with Christ was truly the foundation of my life.

I attended Christopher Newport University, where I met my husband Jason the first day of school.  We were engaged our senior year, and upon graduating moved out to Connecticut where I worked for Young Life and he worked for the YMCA.  We spent four years up in CT doing ministry together, and after our first son, Brayden, was born we moved back down to Virginia.  We found HOPE a week after moving into our home in Goochland and three weeks before our second son, Tyler, was due.  We fell in love with the church and community here immediately and knew this was a place that we could strengthen and grow in our faith as a family.  We have continued to plug into Hope as much as we can, and I am excited to be a part of the Spiritual Formation Team.
