Bio
I grew up in the little one-stop-light town of Amherst, VA where everyone knows who you are and what you’ve done. My dad has been the senior pastor at Clifford Baptist Church for the past 34 years, so I live and breathe that “pastor’s kid life.” After graduating from the only high school in the county in 2007, I attended James Madison University where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance.

Upon graduating from James Madison University in 2011, I left my home state of Virginia and moved to Dallas, Texas to become a member of Ingredients Professional Dance Company for two years. The company was a dance program coupled with a discipleship program that taught dancers how to minister to people through movement. I had the opportunity to travel with the dance convention, Dance Revolution, and to assist and take classes from world-renowned choreographers. While I lived in Dallas, we were a part of Gateway Church and performed at many of their conferences and events.

When the Lord asked me to move back to Virginia in 2013, I waited (not always patiently!) for the next mission He would be sending me on. After months of prayer and feeling like I was living in that “desert place,” God called me to be the Summer Camp Program Manager at CrossRoads Camp & Conference Center for the year of 2014. We spent the summer introducing campers to Jesus and allowing them to explore what it meant to have a relationship with Him.

After the incredible adventure at CrossRoads, the love of my life proposed, and I moved to Richmond, VA in 2015! We began attending Hope Church and knew within our first visit that it would be our home. I helped Andy Berry with Jingle Jam, and that’s all she wrote! I knew that I NEEDED to be involved here!

The Lord confirmed that through Praxis, and I am so excited to get involved with Hope Kids and help them to have a better understanding of the abounding love that the Lord has for them!
