Bio
Born in Massachusetts but Raised in Richmond, I call RVA home and love living here with my wife (Cara), three boys (Ian, Parker Jack), soon to be girl and our rescue dog (Cooper). Our house is noisy, crazy and full of life!

I took the road less traveled as I waited to go to college until 26 ultimately earning a Religious Studies degree from VCU. Earlier, I spent 5 years working in a local guitar store, teaching lessons, and learning how to repair all kinds of stringed instruments. From the guitar store I spent 2 years leading the High School and Student Ministry Music at West End Assembly of God, where I grew up and met my wife. Cara is the love of my life, she challenges me more than any other person and she is the greatest mother I know.

Our spiritual grounding and love for the church started at WEAG. After leading worship for 15 years, my love for technical excellence grew to where I can serve from the tech booth with a worship leaders heart. There is so much more than just pushing buttons. Being able to oversee the technical needs of Hope means caring for volunteers and training them to own their positions and allow the message of Christ be seen and heard in the most creative and clear way.

Hope has become a deeply special place in our hearts. Our boys love “playing with the kids” in Hope Kids, Cara gets to serve on the worship team, and we found community here that we look forward to growing in for years to come.
