“The Naked Gospel” by Andrew Farley
Acts 16:30-31: He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Romans 4:5: But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.
Ephesians 2:8-10: For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
2 Timothy 2:13: if we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself.
1 John 5:13: I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
In preschool, I remember drawing a picture of a dinosaur and then asking the little girl next to me if she thought it looked scary (she said no). And so I drew it again, over and over, until she agreed it was scary.
Sounds silly, but from the very beginning, I’ve loved creating things that have the power to connect with an audience in ways that all of the bullet points and information just can’t — things that have the power to stir emotions, inspire, and move people.
I’m honored to be on the team at Hope, and I love what God is doing here.
