Fun Facts…

My family-

My husband, Erich, and I met when I was 14 and got married after college.  We are blessed with two adorable and energetic boys, Simon (9) and Isaac (4).  Our family also includes our golden retriever, Starbuck, and 2 tabby cats, JZ and Chester – all boys.  I actually don’t mind being the only girl in my house.

 
For Fun I Enjoy-

I enjoy anything related to the Arts – Painting, Photography, Music, Theatre…   I dabble at the piano and love playing a few of my favorite classical pieces.  I also love yoga and have been a student of meditation for several years.

Historical Figure I Admire-

Michelangelo – no contest.  My wish list includes seeing the Sistine Chapel in person someday.

I love, love meeting new people at HOPE.

Bio-

I grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia with my mom and older sister.   My mother was, and still is, an inspiration to me.  When I was 8, she went back to college while working full time and being a single mother.  She took classes when she could and never lost sight of her dream to finish college.  Her dream came true and fourteen years later we both graduated on the same day.

After college, my husband and I moved to Virginia Beach for a few years and then we settled in Richmond.  After 13 years in public accounting, I left to join HOPE….and I love it here.  I am very blessed to be a part of this amazing and talented team.
